For a relatively small country, there’s a lot that’s big about the place. It’s home to the tallest mountain range in Africa, the source that feeds the world’s longest river and the continent’s largest lake. And with half the remaining mountain gorillas residing here, as well as the Big Five to be ticked off, wildlife watching is huge.

 

Uganda remains one of the safest destinations in Africa. Other than watching out for the odd hippo at your campsite, there’s no more to worry about here, than in most other countries. ~Lonely PLanet~

With its Bustling cities, peaceful Lake areas and rolling lush green hills, it is easy to see why Uganda is referred to as 'The Pearl Of Africa'. You will be blown away by its diversity and mesmerised by its sheer beauty.

During our time here, you will experience village life, sleeping and eating among the locals. You will be welcomed inside traditional mud hut homes, spend time with children in local schools and sample some delicious African food.

For those looking for some adventure, you'll have the opportunity to track the rare mountain gorilla in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. See these majestic creatures, up close and in their natural habitat. If this is not for you, relax and enjoy something a little less strenuous while the trekkers are off on their adventure.
